As a lit-crit student, I used to love the concept of ’companion’ books. They helped, they nurtured and the more I learned and read the more they turned into true ‘colleagues’. This is the companion to the very popular Camí de Ronda Mittens, a lovely and quick knit in gorgeously speckled non-superwash Merino d’Arles by Les Petits Points Parisiens

The hat features a fancy folded brim, that you can knit in a 2x2 or 1x1 rib to match the style of your mittens. The crown is particularly lovely, but you can add a pompom for fun and it will look equally sweet.

(The smallest size can fit a kid.)

Or approx 100 (120, 140) m of Sport yarn.

Sample is knit in size 1 in color Guimauve Speckles (brown/pink)

Needles

3 mm / US 2.5 circular needles with a cable length of at least 40 cm / 16”, dpns or a longer cable needle for magic loop

Gauge

24 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” in stockinette stitch in the round.
